So when I open the "file", the frame I want is served to the application. I'd like to be able to load a frame into Photoshop (or something similar) using something like an AviSynth script. that's the step I'd most like to avoid! Having a hard drive full of BMPs is not my idea of a good time. Invoke ImageWrite function for every frame, save frame as BMP.
